Wow......


I am EXHAUSTED from having a blast at Zoe!

Josh, Britt, Jesse and I ended up getting hitting the highway at 5 a.m and got to Zoe at around 11 a.m Thursday. We got lucky by barely missing both checkpoints on the way down and back.

I'm so happy I had enough money to buy some dyes from my loverlies at "Feed a Hippie Tie-Dye".
Hands down, they have the BEST dye on Shakedown! I bought a festival tee and a gorgeous hemp/silk dye from them. I also bought my little brother and sister some dye, but for some strange reason I didn't get those from Virgil and Marina.. so they're not quite AS cool. (but still pretty sweet) I wish I had enough money to buy one of their trippy tapestries, but I settled on a cool Dead tap. It's the cover of American Beauty. ^.^ (definitely going up in my studio today)

I'll eventually get a giant wall hanging from them this summer. I gave them one of my work scrubs to tie-dye and they're going to try to put a cat face on it!!!!!!

Speaking of keetons.. some dumb asses decided to take some Zoe kittens out of the box without telling Virgil and Marina. Three were missing the next morning and Brewster's girlfriend thankfully rescued one after she saw a man screaming at the kitten and then abandon it. ):
I wanted to go on a kittin recon mission to save the other little guys... but we never found the other two Hopefully the people who said they were going to take them home have them and they're not hurt.

I decided I feel way more at home at Camp Zoe than I do here in KC. ):
Everyone is just so..real...down there... or something like that anyway.
I am hoping to find an intern with a glass blower ASAP. I think selling glass down at Schwag would be quite profitable. (and give me an excuse to come down there more often )

My plan for next Schwag is to bring down a set of keeton ears and a tail for me to wear so I can just introduce myself as Keeton. (For some reason no one could pronounce 'Cydney' ??)
And I gotta learn how to hula-hoop! (I had a sweet double light saber I was spinning around all night, but hula-hoops look like more fun!!!!)

I am definitely going to be at the September show but I doubt I'll make it back down there in July T_____T

But yeah, I had a lot of fun down there. I REALLY needed that vacation!
